Mare Services
All mares must have a current negative coggins & be in obvious good health
The mare beind boarded here will incur a $7.00/day charge for personal feed & normal daily care.
Your mare must be in obvious good health and acceptable condition to breed.
Your mare MUST be menageable by us and tolerant of the procedures requirer to breed.
We are successful breeders knowing that if a mare does not settle it is generally (90% plus) the fault of the mare, i.e., infection, condition, age, etc, We will give return privilege to rebreed this mare when accompanied by a vet's certificate stating she is clean of infection and capable of comceiving and carrying a foal. This mare can then be rescheduled to return to our ranch for a second attempt. Mares bred by us then later sold do not carry a live foal guarantee. We will do all we know how, to settle every mare brought to our ranch.
Our stallions carry a live foal guarantee to stand and nurse.
Note: All charges incnrred in this breeding process ane due and payable before the mare is released to depart this ranch.
When a mare has been left for breeding purposes, and attempts to notify owner has failed, and left 90 days after successful breeding, she will become property of Rio-Spur-Ranch to recover boarding and maintenance fees.
